Danny Frikkin Elfman

You know, I really like Johnny Depp. He's played some pretty cool parts, and seems to revel in the unconventional, the absurd, the odd. So, no wonder he's so well paired with Tim Burton, a guy with a kinky eye.

But WHY... WHY do I have to continue to be subjected to Danny Frikkin Elfman's repetitive, bland, tepid, plinkety-plonkety soundtracks? Beetlejuice, Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas ----> all the way through Sleepy Hollow and Big Fish. Plinkety-Frikkin-Plonkety.

Will this stop me from seeing Charlie & TCF? No, it won't... There's just too much there visually to chew on to -not- go see it. But for Baby Jesus' sake... my 7-month old puppy is more innovative than Danny Frikkin Elfman. Case in point:
